What are the reception times?

The reception is open from 9 am to 9 pm. For a departure before 9 am, please contact the reception the day before your departure and for an arrival after 9 pm (of course possible) please let us know by phone.

When rooms are available and should they be vacated?

Our rooms are available from 4 pm and must be vacated at 11 am on the departure day.

May I leave my luggage at the hotel before and after my stay?

Yes, customers who arrive before their room is ready or who wish to leave their luggage after releasing it can contact the reception desk.

Does the hotel have a parking?

We have a limited number of spaces in the municipal covered car park (closed at night): need to book (10€/night). Parking on the street near the hotel is free from November to March. From April to October, some of the city’s parking lots are subject to a charge (near the thermal baths), however many parking lots remain free (please contact us upon arrival).

Is Internet access available throughout the hotel? Is it free of charge?

Wifi connection is available free of charge throughout the hotel (rooms and common areas). An access code is given to you at your arrival.

Do you have a baby cot and other baby accessories at your disposal?

Yes, free of charge and on request, we provide a baby cot in the room (except for rooms that are not spacious enough). We also offer a bathtub, changing mat and bottle warmer on request. In the restaurant you can ask for a high chair. The meal snacks can be reheated in the microwave.

Do you have an extra bed at your disposal?

We can provide an extra bed if the room is spacious enough. The request may be asked during the booking time (additional cost of 20€/night).

Is the hotel a non-smoking place?

The hotel is completely non-smoking: all rooms and areas (public or not) in the hotel are non-smoking.

Are pets allowed?

We accept pets for an extra charge of 6€/night.

Does the hotel have an elevator?

Yes, the hotel has an elevator that deserve the 4 floors.
Special feature: as the elevator car is small, we provide a chair for people with reduced mobility whose chair would be too large.

Does the hotel have a shuttle service?

Yes, we provide a shuttle service to the Mont-Dore station.
In winter from 9 am to 5 pm, we provide a shuttle service to the ski resort. It operates on demand both on the outward and return journeys during the weekends and holidays of the winter season.
Our hiking clients can ask us to drop off at the hiking departures near Le Mont-Dore. Please book in advance.

Is there a meeting room at Hotel de Russie?

Our tea room can be converted into a seminar room and can accommodate about 20 people. For larger groups, a meeting room can be booked outside (30 to 300 meters away) the hotel. We provide all the necessary equipment.

Is it possible to book communicating rooms?

We have 3 pairs of communicating rooms: they consist of a room with a double bed and a room with two single beds connected by access.

Are there rooms suitable for people with reduced mobility?

A bedroom is designed to allow a wheelchair to move and turn around in the bedroom and bathroom. To make sleeping easier, it is furnished with twin beds.
It is equipped with a shower that is directly accessible by wheelchair. It is better to contact us by e-mail at hotelderussie@orange.fr to check the availability of this room before making your reservation.
The hotel has a wheelchair that can be made available to guests who wish to use it.

Are the bathrooms equipped with showers or baths?

Some of our bathrooms are equipped with showers and others with baths. If you have a preference, please specify it when booking.
